Fifty photographers on twenty-one teams including teams from the Roswell Photographic Society, the Fayette Photo Club, West Central Georgia Shutterbugs and Women in Focus, participated in the SPC Open on June, 11. Entries for 6 categories were judged by a panel consisting of SPC Program Director Kathryn Kolb, SPC Lab and Office Manager Stephen Brownlee and guest host and Women in Focus leader, Gittel Price .

The Cherokee Photography Club will travel to Serenbe on January 22 for a fun day of shooting and touring the lab and two lucky members will print BIG images. Their club is located in Canton, Georgia. www.cherokeepc.org

CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Call for entries for Nature Undisturbed 2011 is open. Submissions are due January 31, 2011. Last year over 75 photographers submitted over 350 photographs to the show. This year the Dogwood Gallery in Tyrone, Georgia will host the show, which benefits both the Flint Riverkeeper and Souther Conservation Trust.
